New Delhi: Monsoon activity is once again clearly visible in many parts of the country. At some places, heavy rains may increase people's problems, while in some areas the weather is expected to change with thunderstorms. India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an alert of bad weather for 17 states of the country on 14 September. During this period, wind speed can reach 65 kilometers per hour in some areas.

According to the estimates of the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of heavy rain in many states including Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh. Haryana, Punjab, Jharkhand, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Assam, Telangana and Kerala are also included in this list. People living in open areas need to be cautious due to strong winds and rain. Caution has also been advised for farmers and fishermen going into the sea.

Strong wind will blow with rain in Delhi

There is a possibility of bad weather in the capital Delhi on 14 September. According to IMD, winds can blow at a speed of 30 to 40 kilometers per hour during rains. The day temperature is around 32 degrees, while at night it can be around 26 degrees Celsius.

Heavy rain in many districts of UP

The weather will be active in many parts of Uttar Pradesh today. Heavy rain is expected in Aligarh, Agra, Meerut, Mathura, Moradabad, Mirzapur, Maharajganj, Ghaziabad, Gautam Buddha Nagar and Pratapgarh. The speed of strong winds here can reach up to 55 kilometers per hour. The maximum temperature in Lucknow is likely to be 32 and minimum 26 degrees Celsius.

Effect of rain in Bihar also

There may be heavy rain in Bihar's Araria, Arrah, Gaya, Gopalganj, Samastipur, Siwan, Supaul, Saran, Saharsa, East Champaran, Jehanabad, Vaishali, Purnia, Bhojpur, Munger, Bhagalpur and Kishanganj. With this weather, winds are expected to blow up to 50 kilometers per hour. The mercury can reach 33 degrees in Patna, while the minimum temperature will be 27 degrees.

Thunderstorm and rain in Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh

Strong winds along with rain may occur in Bharatpur, Bhilwara, Barmer, Bundi, Baran, Udaipur, Jaipur, Jhunjhunu, Jhalawar, Alwar, Churu, Karauli, Dausa, Kota and Jaisalmer in Rajasthan. The wind speed is expected to reach 65 kilometers per hour. The temperature in Jaipur can remain between 31 to 25 degrees.

There is a danger of heavy rain in Betul, Balaghat, Seoni, Damoh, Dewas, Anuppur, Agar-Malwa, Vidisha, Jhabua, Katni, Mandla and Ratlam of Madhya Pradesh. Here winds can blow up to 60 kilometers per hour. The temperature in Bhopal is likely to be around 28 and 23 degrees Celsius.

Alert in hilly states also

Winds up to 50 kilometers per hour can occur with heavy rain in Bilaspur, Una, Kangra, Kinnaur, Hamirpur, Chamba and Solan of Himachal Pradesh. The maximum temperature in Manali can be 13 and minimum 6 degrees.

There may also be a period of rain and strong winds in Tehri Garhwal, Pauri Garhwal, Rishikesh, Haridwar, Bageshwar, Nainital, Uttarkashi and Champawat of Uttarakhand. The wind speed here is expected to be up to 40 kilometers per hour. The temperature in Dehradun can remain between 28 to 21 degrees Celsius.
