WiFi Service

If you have reached the railway station on time. But later you come to know that due to some reason, the train is a few hours late from its time, then in such a situation you can use the railway's WiFi for free.

Free treatment

If your health deteriorates during the journey in the train, then you can call the railway's helpline number. After which you will get free treatment and medicines in the train.

Facilities of bedsheets, blankets, and pillows in AC coaches
If you are traveling in AC, second AC, and third AC, then you will not have to bring bedding from home as you will also get a pillow to cover yourself and put under your head on the train. You are given a complete bedroll (Bedroll in train) which has to be returned after the journey. However, in the Garib Rath Express train, you are charged Rs 25 for this.

Food facilities are also available
If you are travelling in a train and you are unable to carry food from home, then food is delivered to your seat. However, this facility is available only in some selected trains like Rajdhani, Vande Bharat. Let us tell you that this facility is not free. Its fare is added to your ticket.

You can also relax in the waiting room.
If your train gets delayed for any reason, then you can comfortably stay in the AC and non-AC waiting halls at the station by showing your ticket to the railway station officials. For this, you may have to pay some charge.

It is the responsibility of the railways to ensure that every passenger traveling on the train reaches his destination safely. In case of any accident during the train journey, Indian Railways provides insurance of up to Rs 10 lakh to every passenger. For this, only 45 paise is charged which is added to the fare of your ticket at the time of booking. Railways provide facilities like wheelchairs, and stretchers for the convenience of people unable to walk, handicapped, and elderly.
