Superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s amusing response after filming an advertisement with the director-choreographer’s chef, Dilip, has been made public by Farah Khan.
Farah and her chef Dilip went to Kabir Khan and Mini Mathur’s house this time for her YouTube vlog, where they prepared the famous kulle ki chaat and Hyderabadi kebabs.
Regarding Dilip’s rise to fame, Farah told Mini and Kabir, “He has shot an ad with Shah Rukh.” Then he (Dilip) phoned and said, ‘You come and educate me.’ According to Shah Rukh, “main tere cook ke saath shoot kar raha hun, mera time dekh kya chal raha hai.” “Just take a look at my current situation—I’m shooting with your cook!”
“Usko direct kar rahi hun, mera time dekh tere ko chorke,” I remarked. (Observe my destiny—instead of you, I am leading him!)
“We will do a little Mathur and a little Khan because we have a multicultural household,” she stated, referring to the treats Minis would be providing.
“That chaat was prepared the first time Kabir visited my home. Mini joked, “Now it’s made when his films reach 100 crores.”
A humorous behind-the-scenes anecdote about shooting the legendary “Pehla Nasha” sequence from the 1992 classic Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar, in which the former actress memorably perched atop a vehicle, was shared by Farah and Pooja Bedi on April 30. This was a recent sentimental journey down memory lane.
Pooja visited Farah on her YouTube program, where they prepared blueberry protein pancakes with her actress daughter Alaya F.
Farah won the National Film Award for Best Choreography and has choreographed over 100 songs in more than 80 films.
She has also worked on foreign and Tamil films, including Monsoon Wedding, Bombay Dreams, Vanity Fair, and Marigold: An Adventure in India, as well as the Chinese films Perhaps Love and Kung Fu Yoga, which were nominated for both the Tony and Golden Horse Awards. Happy New Year, Om Shanti Om and Main Hoon Na are among the films she has directed.
