Mumbai: The thrilling auction of the third season of T20 Mumbai League, one of the major franchise-based domestic T20 tournaments of India, will take place in Mumbai on Wednesday. This league with eight teams will be held from 26 May to 8 June at the Wankhede Stadium.

It consists of some of the brightest emerging stars, including 17 -year -old Ayush Mhatre, who made a big performance in the current IPL 2025, includes players like Angkrish Raghuvanshi, Tanush Kotion and Mushir Khan, as there is a notable mixture of emerging talents and experienced players in a group of players.

The pool also includes players like Siddhesh Lad and Shams Mulani, who are consistently performing well in the domestic circuit. The auction is expected to compete and strategic bids, as teams aim to collect their ideal combinations.

Mumbai Cricket Association Secretary Abhay Hadp said, “This exciting player Pool reflects the depth and quality of Mumbai cricket. It has a remarkable mixture of emerging stars and established names, which gives franchises a great option to build competitive teams. As our goal is to expose and promote the next generation of Indian cricket superstar, the numerous teams will be a game -chaser – not only a game -chaser – not only a game -chaser – not only a game -mind For those players who are eager to leave their mark on this grand platform.

Teams have already included icon players in their respective parties, in which Suryakumar Yadav (Triumph North East), Ajinkya Rahane (Bandra Blasters), Shreyas Iyer (Sobo Mumbai Falkans), Prithvi Shaw (North Mumbai Panthers), Shivam Dubey (ARCS Andheri), Shardul Thakur (Eagle Thane Striker) Sarfaraz Khan (Akash Tigers Mumbai Western Sub -Arabs) and Tushar Deshpande (Mumbai South Central Maratha Royals).

The group of players is strategically divided into three categories: senior players, including first class, List A or T20 players, emerging players, including cricketers representing Mumbai at the under-23 or under-19 levels in the last three years, and development players, which include talented local and club level players.

Aadhaar price of Rs 5 lakh for senior player, Rs 3 lakh for emerging player and Rs 2 lakh for development player. The teams will have to include four senior players, at least five emerging players and five development players in their final team of at least 18 members. The icon players have been contracted at a fixed price of Rs 20 lakh.

Each team will have to spend at least Rs 80 lakh out of their 1 crore purse for the season. In addition, teams will have to buy at least two players born on or after September 1, 2005 and at least one of these players will have to be included in their playing XI.
