Facing Vidarbha in the final match from May 3–5, Kaif hammered an unbeaten 250 runs off 280 balls, smashing 19 fours and 12 sixes, and led Uttar Pradesh to a mammoth first-innings score of 502/9 declared in just 103.1 overs. This epic innings played a decisive role in crushing Vidarbha, who managed only 194 runs in response.

What makes Kaif’s achievement even more inspiring is his background. According to Dainik Jagran, Kaif’s father, Munna, works as a labourer, and Kaif is the youngest of seven siblings.
