M1 traffic LIVE: Chaos on major UK motorway with 5-mile queues after horror crash Newspoint  |  07/05/2025 01:39:15

Drivers are facing huge delays on the M1 after a horror motorbike crash in the East Midlands. Emergency services including an air ambulance have raced to the scene near Northampton after a crash involving a motorbike. It is not yet known whether there have been any casualties as a result of the incident.

National Highways East Midlands wrote on X: "Following a collision involving a motorcycle, the #M1 northbound between J16 #Northampton and J18 #Crick has closed. Emergency services, including the air ambulance are in attendance. There is congestion of approx. 5 miles on approach. More info and diversion to follow."
