Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) has invited applications for recruitment to Junior Engineer posts in the Fisheries Department. The application process started on 25th April. Interested candidates having the required qualification can apply for it by visiting the official website https://apsc.nic.in/. The last date to apply is 2nd June.

This is the educational qualification and age limit.

The candidate should have a 3-year diploma in Civil Engineering/Civil Engineering and Planning/Construction Technology from any technical institute recognized by AICTE. The diploma course should be regular. Diploma courses obtained through distance education will not be considered. The age of the candidates should not be less than 18 years and not more than 40 years as of 1 January 2025. The upper age limit will be relaxed for reserved category candidates. It is also necessary to fulfill these eligibility criteria

The candidate must be an Indian citizen as defined in Articles 5 to 8 of the Constitution and a permanent resident of Assam. As proof of residence, he must upload a copy of a valid permanent resident certificate issued in Assam for educational purposes.

Employment office registration certificate will be considered as proof of residence.

This is how the selection will be done, and this much salary will be given.

The final selection of the candidates qualified in the written examination will be made based on performance in both the written examination and interview. Talking about the salary, it is Rs 14000 – 70000 + grade pay + allowances.
