Why She Missed the Met Gala
While fans were disappointed that Selena and her fiancé Benny Blanco missed this year’s Met Gala an event she last attended in 2018 the couple chose to spend the weekend making intimate memories instead. Gomez attended a supper club celebration that included childhood comfort foods and engagements, one of which was celebrated by her close friend.
A Cozy Night In
In the shared photos, Selena looked radiant in a white floral lace-trimmed dress paired with a cream cardigan. She posed happily with her newly engaged friend, while Benny Blanco was seen enjoying cheesy bread with their circle. Though her engagement ring wasn’t prominently shown, Blanco’s presence highlighted the joy of their five-month engagement.
