The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) is offering a golden opportunity for young aspirants seeking apprenticeship in a prestigious government institution. DRDO has invited applications for 30 apprentice positions at two of its divisions: Defence Scientific Information & Documentation Centre (DESIDOC) and Directorate of Planning and Coordination (DP&C).

🔹 Total Vacancies – 30 Posts
  • Library and Information Science – 20 Posts

  • Computer Science – 7 Posts

  • Photography and Videography – 2 Posts

  • Printing Technology – 1 Post

📌 Eligibility Criteria
  • Library & Information Science Apprentice: Candidates must have a graduate degree along with a 1-year degree or 3-year diploma in Library and Information Science.

  • Computer Science Apprentice: A 3-year diploma in Computer Science is required.

  • Photography & Videography Apprentice: Candidates must possess a 3-year diploma or ITI certificate in Photography/Videography.

  • Printing Technology Apprentice: Requires a 3-year diploma in Printing Technology.

🎯 Age Limit
  • Maximum age limit: 28 years

  • Relaxation in age limit will be applicable as per government norms for reserved categories.

💰 Stipend
  • ₹9,000 per month for Library and Information Science apprentices

  • ₹8,000 per month for all other apprentice posts

Candidates will be shortlisted based on their qualifications. Final selection will be made through a written test/interview and document verification.
