Kia India has agreed to contribute ~35 crore over five years (2025–2029) to assist IIT-Tirupati’s academic infrastructure, joint research projects, and student development activities as part of this important collaboration. The goal of this partnership is to position the university as a leading hub for sustainable automotive technology, electric transportation, and innovative manufacturing.

The MoU provides a thorough framework for collaboration, which includes the launch of an internship programme with Pre-Placement Offers (PPOs) for students. This will enable smooth industry-academia integration and give students worthwhile chances to advance their careers at Kia India.
