Mumbai At the 78th Cannes Film Festival, actress Parul Gulati made her debut by going to the global premiere of Ari Aster’s Eddington. She said that she wanted my red carpet appearance to showcase my uniqueness and daring.

One of the most talked-about entries at the festival this year is the film, which stars international celebrities Pedro Pascal, Emma Stone, and Joaquin Phoenix.

Parul revealed: “I’ve always wanted to go to the Cannes Film Festival—not only as an actor, but also as someone who is really passionate about the craft of filmmaking. It was unbelievable to be allowed to walk the red carpet at Eddington’s debut.

“I’ve always been captivated by Ari Aster’s work, and seeing a movie of this magnitude with actors I’ve admired for years, like Joaquin Phoenix, Emma Stone, and Pedro Pascal, was a true full-circle moment,” she said.

Parul described the event as more than a turning point.

It serves as a reminder of the importance of movies, the reasons we make tales, and the reasons we watch them. I wanted to convey the same sense of uniqueness and daring with my red carpet appearance. It was more than simply pushing the frontiers of fashion to wear a garment made completely of human hair; it was a tribute to my path, to all women who have ever accepted their individuality, and to the notion that our origins may really be our greatest strength.

“I will always remember being able to showcase my creative and business sides at a venue as prestigious as Cannes.”

Parul made a striking fashion statement on the red carpet wearing a specially designed outfit made completely of hair that she had imagined and that renowned stylist and designer Mohit Rai and Riddhi Bansal had created.

A team of twelve talented craftsmen worked on the ensemble for more than a month, and it required many hours of meticulous workmanship.
