Sunrisers Hyderabad beat Lucknow Super Giants by six wickets in Match 61 of the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League at the Ekana International Cricket Stadium on Monday, May 19. This was their fourth win of this season.

Batting first, LSG started strong by racking up 69 runs in the powerplay. Mitchell Marsh led the charge with a 39-ball 65 before IPL debutant Harsh Dubey removed him. Rishabh Pant's struggles continued as he managed just seven with the bat. Aiden Markram got to 61 off 38 before falling to a dipping yorker from Harshal Patel. Nicholas Pooran (45) fell five shy of a fifty.  LSG lost a total of three wickets in the final over, ending up with 205/7.

Eshan Malinga impressed with figures of 2/28 in four overs. In reply, SRH lost Atharva Taide early. Will O’Rourke claimed Taide for his maiden IPL wicket. Abhishek Sharma (59 off 20) and Ishan Kishan (35 off 28) provided a great platform by the end of the powerplay. Digvesh Rathi dismissed both the southpaws. Heinrich Klaasen (47 off 28) and Kamindu Mendis (32 off 21) stitched a 55-run stand to guide SRH close to the target.
