Honda X-DV 750 Scooter: Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) has launched its most popular premium adventure scooter X-DV 750 within a few hours of the teaser issuing. The special thing is that the company has introduced it only one day after the Rebel 500 cruiser launch. In fact, recently it was introduced with the tagline “Game Changer” through Bigwing India on social media, which clearly shows that Honda is going to do something big in the Indian premium to-wheeler segment.
What is special in Honda X-DV 750?
The X-DV 750 is famous as a unique maxi scooter in the International Market, the model for India looks similar to the latest generation X-DV at the global level. This scooter has been designed for both daily life and long adventure rides.
Engine and performance
Honda X-DV 750 is a powerful and adventure-friendly scooter, with a 745cc parallel-twin engine. This engine generates maximum power of 58 bhp and torque of 69 Nm. This engine has a 6-speed dual clutch transmission (DCT), which is seen very little in this segment and gives a feel of smooth gear shifting. Talking about the suspension and braking system, this scooter has a 17-inch front wheel and a 15-inch rear wire-spoke wheel, which comes with strong underpinning. Its front also has dual disc brakes and long-tricls suspension, which makes this scooter fully capable of light off-roading.

The Honda X-DV 750 has all the features that make it not just a scooter, but a premium adventure to-wheeler. It has a full LED lighting system, which gives better visibility for night rides. According to the riding condition, adjustable windscreen is provided, which increases wind protection and comfort. The scooter gets a large and attractive digital TFT display, which clearly shows all the necessary information. It has multiple riding modes such as urban, adventure and comfort to customize the riding. In the international market, it is also sold with an accessory pack, including adventure kits, urban setups, and luggage options.
Launch and Honda’s strategy in India
So far, Honda has strengthened its hold in the computer segment through scooters such as Activa, Dio and recent Activa Electric in India. But now there is a big change in the company’s strategy. The back-to-back teaser of Rebel 500 and X-DV 750 clearly shows that Honda is now making a strong grip through the bigwing network in the premium two-wheeler segment. Significantly, Honda X-DV 750 has been seen on the streets of India earlier, and one of its units was also found registered in Arunachal Pradesh.
