A gruesome discovery was made on Wednesday in Bachupally, Rangareddy district, Telangana, when police found the decomposed body of an unidentified woman inside a red suitcase. The suitcase, emitting a strong foul odor, was located near the wall of Reddy Lab in Vijaydurga Owners Association Colony.

The deceased woman, estimated to be between 25 and 35 years old, was found wearing a red outfit. Police suspect that the murder happened around 10 to 12 days ago. It appears the woman was killed elsewhere and her body was dumped at this location.

Her body has been sent for post-mortem, which is expected to provide crucial clues about the cause of death and aid in the investigation.

Investigation in Progress

A case of suspicious death has been registered under Section 194 of the Indian Civil Protection Act (BNPS).

Authorities are reviewing CCTV footage from the area to identify who discarded the suitcase. Special investigation teams have been formed under the supervision of Balanagar Zone Deputy Commissioner of Police K. Suresh Kumar.

Police have also notified nearby stations to cross-check missing person reports and are urging the public to come forward with any information related to the deceased or the case.
