Miley Cyrus has been reminiscing about her time as a 21-year-old when she started ‘acting out’ eventually loosing the bright prospects in her life.

In a podcast titled Reclaiming with Monica Lewinsky, she said “If I kept dressing or acting a certain way, my relationships fell apart. No one wanted to date me”.

The singer and the actor started dating each other in 2009 after featuring in The Last Song. Their amplified into an engagement in 2012, that was called off the next year. This life change reflected on her music when she released controversial tracks, including her fourth studio album Bangerz.

She shared, “When I was dating, or I was engaged at the time, but that didn’t work out because I was sharing a part of myself that men wanted to be saved for them only, and the fact that I would pose n*de or dance in very little clothes or show my body, was making them feel that I was taking something away that was meant to be for them.”

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth made consensus again in 2017, and got engaged in October later exchanging vows officially on December 2018. Their relationship terminated in January 2020 with a divorce.
