New Delhi: Anthropic, the Amazon-backed artificial intelligence startup, has launched a financial services version of its Claude AI platform. The Financial Analysis Solution that has just been launched is aimed at assisting the financial professionals in market analysis, investment decision-making, and research. This is the next major step by Anthropic in appealing to enterprise users as generative AI gets adopted at increasing speed in various industries.

The financial analysis solution is composed of Claude 4 models, Claude Code, and Claude for Enterprise bundled with increased usage restrictions, real-time data access, and professional onboarding services. Kate Jensen, who leads revenue at Anthropic, told the audience at an event in New York that the product is expressly designed to serve financial analysts and that it provides the nuance, accuracy, and reasoning required to do complex financial work.

The AI models developed by Claude have already been shown to be better on financial benchmarks. As per Vals AI, Claude is better in various financial activities than the competitors. Claude Opus 4, in collaboration with FundamentalLabs, successfully completed five levels of the Financial Modelling World Cup with intricate tasks completed with 83 per cent accuracy using Excel. Claude Code also expands these possibilities, allowing it to be used in such tasks as Monte Carlo simulations, risk modelling, and compliance automation.

Real-time data from leading financial platforms

Claude is incorporated with the best financial information providers to provide real-time insights.

These are Box, Databricks, PitchBook, S&P Global, Snowflake, Morningstar, etc. Using these partnerships, users can get verified data from several sources, which minimises errors and accelerates the financial analysis. Examples include the provision of data on the private markets, such as PitchBook, and equity and earnings data in real time, such as those offered by FactSet and S&P Global.

To speed up the adoption, Anthropic provides implementation services through consultancies such as Deloitte, KPMG, PwC and Slalom.
