The last date for application for the recruitment of Agniveer Vayu has been extended by the Indian Air Force. This is the second chance for the candidates who want to serve the country by joining the Indian Air Force to apply for the post of Agniveer Vayu. Eligibility Criteria

The minimum age of the candidates to appear in the recruitment exam of Agniveer Vayu has been fixed at 21 years.

To apply for this post, the candidates must have passed class XII with a minimum of 50 percent marks in Mathematics, Physics, and English subjects from a recognized board of India. Apart from this, candidates should have a three-year diploma in engineering in subjects like Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Automobile, Computer Science, Instrumentation Technology, etc., from a recognized institute.

Also, those candidates will also be eligible to apply who have passed two-year vocational course with minimum 50 percent marks.

To apply for this post, candidates will also have to pay the application fee. The application fee has been fixed at Rs 550 for candidates of all categories.

Selection will be done like this.

Candidates will be selected on the basis of a written test, physical test, document verification, and medical test. In the written test, there will be negative marking of marks for each correct answer and one mark for each wrong answer. Also, for the physical standard test, male candidates will have to complete the 1.6 km race in 7 minutes and female candidates will have to complete the race in 8 minutes.
