Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA Rajkumar Chauhan has been appointed as the chairman of the Rural Development Board of Delhi Government. He has been awarded a cabinet rank for this important responsibility. After this appointment, Rajkumar Chauhan has expressed his gratitude to the party leadership and Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta.

Rajkumar Chauhan said, “I thank the leadership for this responsibility and will work with full dedication. I thank Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, on whose instructions I have been entrusted with this important responsibility. The Rural Development Board has given the first cabinet rank, which is a matter of pride for me.”

He further said that he will firmly fulfill this responsibility and will work day and night for the development of rural areas of Delhi.

Referring to his previous experience, Chauhan said that he has already held important responsibilities in various ministries and has always worked in public interest.

He said, “Even before I had a ministry, I still did a lot of work. Now once again trust has been expressed in me, which is a new challenge for me. I accept it and will fulfill it with hard work.”

Rajkumar Chauhan expressed his priority about the development of rural areas of Delhi. He said that development of infrastructure such as roads, drains, chaupalas and procession houses in rural areas will be their priority.

In the last four-five months, I managed the budget for all the necessary projects in my assembly and gave impetus to development works. Now as the chairman of the board, I will speed up development in rural areas of Delhi.

Rajkumar Chauhan further said that he understands the problems of the people of rural areas and will take concrete steps to solve them. Our goal is to make rural Delhi self -reliant and developed. For this, we will strengthen basic facilities in villages and will give priority to the needs of the local people.
