Kaos is about to hit Netflix and the dark comedy-drama sees Jeff Goldblum as Zeus, King of the Gods. After becoming paranoid that his power is waning, he sets off a catastrophic chain of events that could see the end of the world.

The eight-episode series boasts a stellar cast with the likes of Janet McTeer, David Thewlis and Stephen Dillane all playing Gods. As a family, their rule is threatened by people on Earth who yearn for change.

Four mortals in particular, Riddy (Aurora Perrineau), Orpheus (Killian Scott), Caneus (Misia Butler) and Ari (Leila Farzad), are cosmically connected in the battle against Zeus. They are destined to bring down the Gods and they are on their own individual journeys to find out how.

The mythological series is inspired by figures from Greek mythology and filming began in Spain in August 2022. The series is set to arrive on Netflix on August 29.

Here is all you need to know about what time the episodes will air.

What time is Kaos on Netflix?

There has been a huge amount of hype around the series since it was first announced in 2018, with Charlie Covell serving as creator and executive producer.

Some huge names signed up, with Hugh Grant originally lined up to play Zeus, however, he had to pull out due to date availability issues.

Jurassic Park star Jeff Goldblum replaced him in the lead role in July 2022, with filming taking place a couple of months later.

Viewers will be pleased to hear all eight episodes will arrive on the streaming platform at the same time, meaning a weekend binge is possible.

Netflix releases new shows at midnight in the US, meaning fans across the pond will be able to watch from 12am on August 29.

For those watching in the UK, they will have to wait until 8am on August 29 for the episodes to hit the streaming platform.

The official trailer for the series shows Zeus plotting a series of disasters against humanity, but he is soon threatened by those who admit to defying the Gods.

Viewers are told "the war has begun" as humans and the Gods go head to head in the ultimate power battle.
