has hit a major milestone by reaching two million followers on Instagram - a milestone that Princess Eugenie is yet to reach.

Eugenie, who has 1.8 million followers on Instagram, uploaded her first post to mark International Women's Day in March 2018.

Unlike her royal relative, Meghan only returned to the social media platform last month - but has already surpassed the amount of followers held by Eugenie.

Eugenie, 34, has posted regularly over the past six years - even using the platform to welcome the Duke and Duchess of Sussex when they launched their account, @sussexroyal, in 2019.

Meghan, 43, and Eugenie are thought to be close friends, with Prince Andrew's youngest daughter being the first royal introduced to her when she began dating Prince Harry in 2016.

Eugenie, who, like Meghan, is also a mum of two, made a brief appearance in the Sussexes debut Netflix docuseries in 2022.

She was shown playing on a beach in California with Meghan and Harry's son, Prince Archie, now aged five.

As she neared the major Instagram milestone, Meghan posted an array of new posts this week - including one revealing the name of her new lifestyle brand.

, Meghan uploaded a video telling her followers that her brand is going to be called As Ever.

Annoucing that 'As Ever' is a name she "secured" in 2022, Meghan added: "This the moment [for the announcement]. It's called 'As Ever'.

'As Ever' essentially means 'as it's always been'."

Just hours later, Meghan revealed, alongside a picture - which appeared to give fans subtle hints over what they can expect wtih As Ever - that her brand will launch in "Spring 2025".

The launch will coincide with her new Netflix series, With Love, Meghan, which will air on March 4. Meghan has also posted a beautifully decorated mood board with an array of pictures - including a sweet watercolour painting of herself, Prince Harry and her beloved late dog, Guy.
