confirms that two popularcereal products has been discontinued in all of its UK stores.

The chain confirmed the news after shoppers took to social media to find out where the products had gone. One Brit asked the chain on X - formerly - after they were unable to find their favourite breakfast item in their local store. The products in question are Tesco's Apricot Wheats and the branded version from Kellogg's, which are both small wholegrain wheat squares with a fruit-flavoured filling.

The shopper asked where the Kellogg's Apricot Wheats had gone in their local store in Baldock, as it had been several weeks since they had last seen them. Kellogg's is known for a range of cereal brands including Corn Flakes, Coco Pops, Frosties and Crunchy Nut.

The X user noted that Tesco continued to stock the other varieties, including Blueberry and Frosted but not the Apricot flavour.

In their post, they wrote: "What’s happened to the *apricot* version of your Kellogg wheat cereals? For several weeks now you’ve had the other varieties but no Apricot wheats. First you took away the Honey Monster Puffs, and now this."

In response, the supermarket chain confirmed that their own-brand variety had been discontinued in all UK stores. They said: "Hi there, the Apricot Wheats cereal has been discontinued and is no longer ranged in any of our stores. I am so sorry for any inconvenience this has caused."

The X user followed up again, clarifying that the product they had been asking about was Kellogg's branded version, as they knew the own-brand version had been discontinued for "several years". They noted that they could find the product at their local but not at Tesco.

The supermarket's X support then said they would check their availability. However, the Kellogg's Apricot version of the breakfast product is not currently available on the supermarket's website. However it is available online at Sainsbury's, and Ocado with prices ranging from £1.95 to £2.45 for the 500g box. When asked by the , the supermarket chain confirmed that it had discontinued the product across all of its UK stores. On the move, the supermarket noted that it regularly updates its range based on supplier feedback and customer needs.
