The premiere of Suits LA, a spinoff of the popular legal drama Suits, left fans wondering about the whereabouts of original characters Mike Ross (Patrick J Adams) and Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht).

Set in Los Angeles, the new series features fresh faces Ted Black (Jeffrey Donovan), Stuart Lane (Dule Hill), Erica Rollins (Katie Heigl), and Rick Dodsen (Tom Lipinski) as leads.

The final episode of Suits gave a perfect closure to all characters at Litt Wheeler Williams Bennett, the law firm at the heart of the original series.

It also paved the way for the next chapter for Specter and Donna (Sarah Rafferty), with Specter choosing to leave New York and join Ross in Seattle.

It was a huge change for him, the "best closer in the city" throughout Suits.

Despite Specter and Ross's initial absence in Sunday's premiere, it has been confirmed that Macht's character, Specter, will return for a three-episode arc in Suits LA.

His return is connected to his past relationship with Black, one of the new main characters introduced in the spinoff.

However, no other cameos from original Suits characters have been confirmed yet, making it unlikely for Ross to appear in Suits LA anytime soon.
