CSK New Assistant Bowling Coach: Prior to IPL 2025, a new member has entered the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) coaching staff. Former Indian player Sreedharan Shriram has been appointed as his assistant bowling coach. He will attend the experienced coaching staff headed by Stephen Fleming (Head Coach), Michael Hussey (Batting Coach) and Eric Simmons (Bowling Advisor).
Sreedharan Shriram has played eight ODIs for India. Sriram, 49, has a lot of coaching experience, has worked as Australia's spin bowling coach and later worked as a technical advisor for Bangladesh. In addition, the IPL spent a brief time with Royal Challengers Bangalore (2010) and Delhi Capitals (2011). In the IPL, he has been a part of the dressing room of Punjab Kings (PBKS) and recently Lucknow Super Giants (LSG).
In Sri Ram Chennai Super Kings (CSK), Ravichandran will oversee talented spin department like Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja, Shreyas Gopal and Noor Ahmed. CSK will start its IPL 2025 campaign on 23 March at home ground against its arch -rivals Mumbai Indians.
