New Delhi: Ajith Kumar and Trisha Krishnan’s action-packed film Vidaamuyarchi is all set for its OTT release. Netflix India confirmed the news on Monday, sending fans into a frenzy. The film, which hit theatres on February 6, will be available for streaming next month.
Netflix India made the big announcement on Instagram, dropping an intense poster of Ajith from the film. The caption read, “No breaks. No limits. Just Vidaamuyarchi. Watch Vidaamuyarchi on Netflix, out on 3 March in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Kannada & Malayalam. #VidaamuyarchiOnNetflix.”

Directed by Magizh Thirumeni and produced by Lyca Productions, Vidaamuyarchi is an adaptation of the 1997 American film Breakdown. The high-octane thriller follows Arjun (Ajith Kumar), a man on a desperate mission to rescue his kidnapped wife Kayal (Trisha Krishnan) from a dangerous group in Azerbaijan.
The film, which was initially scheduled for a Pongal 2025 release, surprised fans with its early arrival. Within its first week, Vidaamuyarchi stormed past the Rs 70 crore mark at the box office. The movie also features Arjun Sarja and Regina Cassandra in formidable antagonistic roles.
