Vivek Mathur, partner and chief operating officer (COO) at Elevation Capital, has quit the venture capital firm after 14 years to focus on advisory and mentorship.

“I have transitioned from Elevation Capital, after an incredible 14 years. I am now focusing on advisory and mentorship, supporting an exciting cohort of founders across sectors like D2C, agri, agritech, climate and defence tech,” Mathur said while announcing his exit in a LinkedIn post.

An industry veteran with over 30 years of experience, Mathur also held various leadership roles in companies such as Dell Technologies, Scope International and Standard Chartered Bank.

Through Elevation, Mathur has backed startups, including ACKO, FirstCry, Paytm, Tracxn and Xpressbees among others.
