Delhi Capitals have been playing since the first season of IPL but their title drought is still continuing. The team has made many changes for this IPL season, including removing captain Rishabh Pant. The team has bought KL Rahul for Rs 14 crore in the auction. The team can also make Rahul its captain. After appointing Matthew Mott as assistant coach, Delhi Capitals will hope that the team will do well this season and perhaps even win its first IPL title.

Matthew Mott's coaching career was brilliant

Matthew was appointed by the England Cricket Board as the coach of its men's team for limited overs in May 2022. Earlier, he had made many records by staying with the Australia women's cricket team for 7 years. Under his coaching, the Australia women's team won 2 T20 World Cups, one ODI World Cup and 4 Ashes series. During this time, the Australia team also made a record of winning 26 consecutive matches.

Delhi Capitals will start their campaign in IPL 2025 from March 24. Their first match is with Lucknow Super Giants. Delhi Capitals will play their first two matches in Visakhapatnam. After this, all the home matches of the team will be played at Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.
