EPF Interest Rate Remains Unchanged for 2024-25

The Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) has decided to retain the 8.25% interest rate on Employees' Provident Fund (EPF) deposits for the financial year 2024-25. This decision was taken by the Central Board of Trustees (CBT) in a meeting held on Friday.

Earlier, in February 2024, EPFO had increased the interest rate from 8.15% (2022-23) to 8.25% (2023-24). The finalized interest rate will now be sent to the Finance Ministry for approval before being credited to members' accounts.
