Ranchi: Vice Chancellor of Nilambar-Pitambar University in Palamu and Kolhan University in Chaibasa have been appointed. The Governor's Secretariat has issued a notification in this regard. Vice Chancellor of Jamshedpur Women's University, Dr. Anjila Gupta has been made the Vice Chancellor of Kolhan University. While Dr. Dinesh Kumar Singh has been appointed Vice Chancellor of Nilambar Pitambar University.

According to the notification issued by the Governor's Secretariat, the tenure of the Vice Chancellor will be three years. Both will take over after vigilance clearance from parent organization. Section 10 Governor Shah Chancellor of Jharkhand State University Act, 2000 has approved the appointment.

Dr. Anjila Gupta, Vice Chancellor of Jamshedpur Women's University has been appointed as Vice Chancellor of Kolhan University. Prior to this, she has been the Vice Chancellor of Guru Ghasidas Central University of Chhattisgarh. However, some controversies also came up during her tenure at Jamshedpur Women's University. Dr. Dinesh Kumar Singh, who hails from Uttarakhand, has been appointed as Vice Chancellor of Nilamb Pitambar University. He was currently employed as Head of Department (HOD) at Pant Agriculture and Technology University.
