How to use less data for calls on WhatsApp

WhatsApp enables us to make voice and video calls over the internet, but for those with limited data plans, these calls can quickly eat up your precious data.

Luckily, WhatsApp has a "Low Data Usage" option for calls that helps cut down on data usage without a huge hit to call quality.

To limit data usage on WhatsApp calls, first open the app on your Android device.

Tap the three dots in the upper-right corner to open the menu, then tap Settings.

Navigate to Storage and Data, then locate Use less data for calls.
