First, know about 'Chartered Accountant'. CA is a professional course, in which the work of looking after the matters of accounting, auditing, and finance has to be done. Whereas 'Company Secretary' is also a professional course. But in this, work is done on legal corporate governance and financial management of any company.
Know about CA
It can be understood that a CA gives his advice in matters related to finance and has to do things like paying taxes as well as managing the transactions in the company. The CA exam is conducted by the Chartered Accountant Institute of India and a certificate is also provided. The syllabus of the CA exam is prepared by ICAI. To pass the CM exam, it is necessary to have passed 12th.
Know about CS
The full form of CS is Company Secretary. In this, the legal process of the company, governance, and rules and regulations of corporate matters are taught. One can become an expert advisor in administrative matters. There is no finance work in this. If you have an interest in finance, then you can do CA and if you have an interest in rules and regulations, then you can do CS. To take the CS exam, the candidates will also have to pass the 12th.
The entrance exam for both is conducted by different bodies. CA exam is conducted by ICAI. CS exam is conducted by ICSI.
