NatWest and (RBS) will shut 56 branches in 2025 - and you can see the full list of locations below.

will pull down the shutters on 54 branches, while RBS will close two, one of which was shuttered last month. The majority of the closures will take place between April and June. NatWest says more people are using online banking, but the news may be concerning for vulnerable customers who rely on face-to-face support.

NatWest customers can use RBS branches for everyday banking services, and vice versa, for RBS customers and NatWest branches. You can also see if you can visit a "mobile branch" which is where a member of staff from a bank, sets up a mobile service in a community location for a set number of days.

This service can be used for making deposits, withdrawing cash and paying bills - but they won't be able to help you with cash or counter services. You can visit the Post Office to pay in and withdraw cash, check your balance, and deposit cheques. Latest data from Which? shows banks and building societies have closed 6,293 branches since January 2015, at a rate of around 53 each month. NatWest Group has closed 1,431 branches.
