Aadhaar card is one of the important documents of the country. This is necessary in many tasks. Whether it is government work or non -governmental work. The Aadhaar card also acts as an identity card for the people of the country. From opening a bank account to making a PAN card, Aadhaar card is required for every work. The Aadhaar card contains important personal information including the person's name, date of birth, address and specific Aadhaar number. Most people have problems with the photo in the Aadhaar card. If you also want to change the photo in your Aadhaar card then you can change.

It is common to have objections about photos in Aadhaar card. You can update the name, home address, date of birth, gender, mobile number and email ID in Aadhaar card.

Along with this, photos, fingerprints and iris scans can also be updated. If you are also dissatisfied with your photo, then you can change your photo. So, you have to go to your nearest base center, from where you can change the photo.

Please note that photo update facility in Aadhaar card is not available online. This means that you cannot change it sitting at home. So, to update the photo to the Aadhaar card, you have to go to the nearest Aadhaar center.

  • First you have to login by visiting UIDAI's website uidai.gov.in. After this you have to download the base enrollment form
  • Fill the form and submit the nearest base enrollment center.
  • The staff of the center will take your biometric details from you.
  • Center employee will take your photo
  • Apart from this, the center employee will update the new photo by charging Rs 25 + GST.
  • From the center you will get a slip with URN
  • Through URN you can check whether the photo of your Aadhaar card has changed or not.
  • After updating the photo in the card, download the updated Aadhaar card with the new photo.
