Raghuraj Pratap Singh alias Raja Bhaiya is an MLA from Kunda, the famous seat of Uttar Pradesh. Everything is not going well in his family. His wife Bhanvi Singh lodged an FIR against Raja Bhaiya at Safdarjung Enclave police station in Delhi. Through the FIR, Bhanvi Singh has accused him of physical and mental abuse for years.

Bhanvi Singh has alleged in the FIR that due to this violence, he suffered serious injuries on his body and now he is afraid of his life. He also accused his mother -in -law of his in -laws of harassment. He says that despite facing misbehavior, he tried to maintain peace in the family and save his marriage. This was the reason that he avoided taking legal action. However, misconduct with him did not stop.

Earlier, Bhanvi Singh had made similar complaints from the National Commission for Women and Delhi State Legal Services Authority, but did not take the matter forward. In August 2023, Bhanvi Singh filed an affidavit in a family court, accusing Raja Bhaiya of domestic violence, abuse and illegal relations for nearly three decades. Raja Bhaiya and his wife have been living separately for the last few years. Raja Bhaiya has applied for divorce on the basis of mental cruelty and abandonment against his wife Bhanvi Kumari in the Family Court. He filed for divorce in November 2022.

Raja Bhaiya's wife Bhanvi Singh is the princess of the Basti royal family. He was born on 10 July 1974 in Basti. She is the third daughter of the 4 daughters of King Kunwar Ravi Pratap Singh. Bhanvi Singh was married to Raja Bhaiya in the year 1995. Raja Bhaiya and Bhanvi Singh have four children. They have two sons and two daughters. The eldest daughter's name is Raghavi Kumari and the second daughter is named Brijeshwari. At the same time, the names of the sons are Shivraj Pratap Singh and Brijraj Pratap Singh.

Both the sons of Raja Bhaiya have studied at the famous Scindia School in Gwalior. This school is counted among the renowned schools of the country.
