Liverpool FC could be on the brink of a historic season, with Arne Slot's squad in contention for the treble. However, attention is already shifting to next season.

Currently, Liverpool are leading the Premier League, eagerly anticipating the Carabao Cup final next weekend and have the opportunity to secure a spot in the Champions League quarter-finals this week. Off the pitch, there's also plenty of buzz as Liverpool announced a on Monday, worth in the region of a reported £300m.

The sportswear giant will take over from Nike when their contract ends after this season, with the new deal set to last five years. Alleged images of Liverpool's 2025/26 home kit have already surfaced online, hinting at a retro design for next season. Numerous 'leaks' of the revamped kit for the upcoming season have been circulating online, but the latest images provide the most detailed glimpse yet of what the Reds will be sporting at Anfield later this year.

The pictures, shared by The Anfield Buzz, reveal the Champions League version of the new home kit, featuring the Adidas logo and Liverpool crest on either side of the chest, and the club's sponsor Standard Chartered prominently displayed below.

The sleeves showcase the iconic three stripes associated with Adidas, while the UEFA logo displays the number 6 - representing Liverpool's six European Cup victories - above the UEFA Foundation for Children logo.

The rumoured new home kit closely echoes the iconic Adidas design from their previous partnership between 2006 and 2008. This nostalgic nod to the Reds' past successes, including their 2007 Champions League final appearance, has been warmly welcomed.

Commenting on the renewed partnership, Liverpool's CEO Billy Hogan expressed: "Everyone at the club is incredibly excited to welcome adidas back into the LFC family. We have enjoyed fantastic success together in the past and created some of the most iconic LFC kits of all time."

He further added: "Adidas and Liverpool share an ambition of success and we couldn't be more excited to partner together again as we look forward to creating more incredible kits to help drive on-pitch performance. We'd like to thank Nike for their support over the last five years and wish them well for the future."
