New Delhi:- Holi is celebrated with enthusiasm not only in India but all over the world. Holi is a festival of colors. Holi, a festival of colors, gaiety and enthusiasm, is being celebrated on 14 March this year. The more fun it takes to play Holi, it takes the same hard work to get rid of the color from the body. I will learn from Skin Specialist and Assistant Professor Rajni Sharma at IGMC, what precautions should you take while playing with colors, so that both your skin and health are healthy…

According to Skin Specialist and Assistant Professor Rajni Sharma at IGMC, before playing Holi, you should put a dark nail polish on your nails. This will prevent color from freezing on the nails. If the color of your nails has deteriorated, then add one teaspoon of coconut oil, castor oil and olive oil, apply it on your nails, apply it for 5 minutes and then wash it.

To protect the skin from the harmful effects of sunlight during the festival, it is necessary to apply SPF 30-50 sunscreen lotion. Also, apply lip balm on your lips.

On the day of Holi, adopt hairstyles like high bun, fishtail bread and high bun with scarf, because it will prevent your hair loss.

Rubbing castor oil on the body a day before Holi does not affect the color on the skin and it also leaves the color quickly.

Clean the body completely using the color cleanser after the festival. If you apply one teaspoon of gram flour, two teaspoons of milk powder and a few drops of lavender oil on your skin, the color will be lightened easily. Next, a good moisturizer should be used to keep the skin moist.

After playing Holi, applying a pack of multani mitti an hour before bathing, all colors will be completely removed. Apart from this, it also prevents allergies from colored powder.

Make a thick paste by mixing gram flour, olive oil, cream and rose water, apply it on your face, hands, neck and feet and leave it. After drying, rubbing the body and washing the skin will reduce the effect of skin.

It is better not to use cosmetics a few days before or after Holi.

While playing Holi, the whole body should wear clothes covering. This will help prevent skin damage caused by colors.

It is also important to save your eyes from the colors of Holi. If a color goes into your eyes during this process, then you should wash your eyes with water again and again.

After playing Holi, rubbing a little rose water on your eyes before sleeping will give them relief.

The skin around our eyes is very sensitive. If they come in contact with paint, there is a risk of vision damage. So before playing the color, apply coconut and almond oil around the eyes.

It is better not to wear contact lens while playing Holi.

Take care of your hair like this

The best way to prevent hair loss from color is to protect them in advance. Apply coconut or almond oil to your hair before playing Holi. This can prevent color from freezing in hair roots.

Celebrate Holi by making your hair a peak or by making them a bun. By doing this you can avoid hair damage.

Before Holi, massaging your hair with coconut or almond oil can prevent color on the hair.

This prevents toxic colors from entering hair roots.

Additionally, wearing scarves or hats will provide additional protection from harmful chemicals and sunlight.

After playing Holi, proper care of hair is necessary to wash hair color and restore moisture. Remove colors and chemicals using warm water and sulfate-free shampoo. Do not use warm water to protect your hair from drying.

On the day of Holi, adopt hairstyles like high bun, fishtail bread and high bun with scarf, because it will prevent your hair loss.
