Comedian John Mulaney is bringing a brand-new live talk show to Netflix. The show is called Everybody’s Live with John Mulaney and is set to premiere on March 12, 2025, at 10 p.m. Eastern Time (ET), which is 7 p.m. Pacific Time (PT). The talk show will stream every Wednesday for 12 weeks, giving fans something to look forward to each week.
This new series is a follow-up to Mulaney’s earlier show from 2024, John Mulaney Presents Everybody’s in L.A. However, this time, the show will be completely live, with no pre-recording or editing. People around the world will be able to watch it as it happens. Mulaney’s team explained that the idea is to keep things spontaneous and unpolished, creating a fun atmosphere where anything can happen.
The show follows a traditional late-night talk show format. Mulaney will interview celebrity guests, host musical performances, and interact with the live audience. One of the main highlights is that viewers will be able to call into the show live, which adds an unpredictable twist. Mulaney mentioned that all conversations on the show would be unscripted, so the audience can expect genuine, unfiltered moments.
The show’s creators shared that there will be no edits or re-takes. Any mistakes or funny moments that happen on-air will stay in the final broadcast. Mulaney said he wanted to bring a real and natural energy to the show, rather than something overly polished.
The actor Richard Kind, known for his roles in Argo, Gotham, and Inside Out, will be the announcer for the show. He’ll introduce the episodes and keep the energy going throughout the broadcast.
For the first episode, Mulaney has lined up a variety of special guests. These include actor Michael Keaton, legendary singer Joan Baez, comedian and musician Fred Armisen, hip-hop group Cypress Hill, and financial columnist Jessica Roy. The guest list suggests a mix of fun, serious, and musical moments.
Fans can tune in to Netflix on March 12, 2025, at 10 p.m. ET / 7 p.m. PT to catch the live premiere of Everybody’s Live with John Mulaney. The show will continue each Wednesday for 12 weeks. Because it’s live, fans are encouraged to watch in real-time so they don’t miss any of the surprises.
