A spoof Oasis setlist has sent fans into fits of laughter, with a cheeky nod to the band's notorious past causing quite the buzz online.

The mock-up, which included an encore note that gave away the joke, initially had some Gallagher enthusiasts fooled, sparking excitement for their upcoming summer gigs.

The setlist featured classics like "Champagne Supernova" and "Don't Look Back in Anger," but it was the inclusion of "Live Forever" followed by a hilarious fake entry that really tickled fans.

On the r/ subreddit, one fan posted the "leaked" lineup, prompting immediate reactions from those who spotted the prank. Comments ranged from sarcastic jibes about the authenticity of the setlist to outright amusement at the idea of it being real.

One user wrote: "There are people out there who -really- believe they have a setlist at this point in time just laying around?" Another joked: "No Little James? FAKE."

A third humorously observed: "F**king right it starts with Hello."

The addition of a "Crazy Frog" cover and a stage direction reading "pause for fight," sealed the deal on the setlist's lack of legitimacy, although not before some fans got hot under the collar over the fake.

Angry reactions included one fan blasting: "People are w***ers." Another predicted: "Unrealistic. They'll make it past three songs max before they start beating the s**t out of each other."

Those who fell for the faux setlist were roundly ribbed by fellow fans. One lamented: "Can't anyone just wait for a surprise anymore? I hate the internet lol." While another responded: "Did you read the setlist? I know I'm going out on a limb here but I'm not entirely convinced it's real."

Speculation has been rife about an Oasis reunion setlist, especially after glimpses of and 's individual live performances.

One fan mused: "It's not that hard to guess the setlist. Look at Liam's setlist, take out solo songs, put on two to three songs Noel sang vocals like Don't Look Back in Anger, Half the world etc and you're pretty close."

Meanwhile, other fans took to social media with tongue-in-cheek comments regarding potential surprises in the setlist. "Imagine if they protested this leak by filling the set up with material from the 2000s."

The hypothetical list attracted diverse responses, with a fan conceding that it wouldn't be a disappointment: "To be fair, if this WAS the setlist and they swapped Crazy Frog for something off SOTSOG (and kept the fight) I wouldn't even be mad!".

Others joked about the placement of hits within the show, "Amazed that their most popular hit Pause for Fight is so late in the set."

Another responded with insight into audience preferences, "If they play it early, a lot of people would just leave after that, sadly. They have some great deep cuts, but still the casual listeners just care about the popular hits, PfF being probably the most popular of them all."
