How to get Porting Code (UPC)?

To provide the mobile number, you need to get UPC (Unique Porting Code). To get this code, follow the steps below:

  • Airtel Users: Send SMS on 1900 by writing “Port Your Mobile Number”.
  • VI (Vodafone-I) user: Send SMS on 1900 by writing “Port Your Mobile Number”.
  • A 15 -digit UPC code will come to your number in a few seconds.
  • Enter this code on the Jio app or website.

How to get live sim?

  • Go to the nearest Jio store and show your document (Aadhaar card, voter ID or driving license).
  • Present UPC code and get a new Jio SIM card.
  • Put the SIM in your mobile, it will be active in a few hours or 1-2 days.
  • As soon as the porting process is complete, your old network (Airtel or VI) will be closed and the Jio network will turn on.
