There is a remote spot in the UK where the forest meets the beach, and it looks like something you would only find in another part of the world. Newborough Forest in Wales is a place like no other, with views that are completely unique to the area. Located along the coast of , this place is made distinct by a number of features, including the dunes, coastal marshes, and sandy and rocky shores.

The pine trees that make up Newborough Forest were planted here in the 1940s, 50s and 60s to stabilise the shifting sand dunes. The result is a visitor experience that is completely unique to the area, with the forest and the beach bleeding into each other. People have been discovering the sheer and sharing their experiences of it on social media, creating hype around this truly unique place.

One TikTok user, @tomandfordythevan, shared a viral clip of the forest park and beach, showing off the scenic highlights. In the clip, they reveal that they traveled six hours just to see where "a forest meets a beach".

"If there was something such as The 7 Wonders of the UK, this would be one of them..." they said.

Another TikTok user, @mays.map, called it the "" and said that she "couldn't believe it was in the UK."

There are a number of trails in this unique mix of forest and beach. The Saint, Sand and Sea Trail shows off the surrounding and coastline as well as the landmark lighthouse.

Meanwhile, other routes like the Red Squirrel Discovery Trail take you around the forest and allow you to get a glimpse at the stunning flora and fauna of the area.

The beach and forest are a hit with visitors of all kinds, avid hikers and families alike.

Tripadvisor reviewers seem to be in agreement about the beach, that it is a fantastic expeirence and a must-visit beach in the UK.

One person wrote: "Absolutely stunning beach. We managed to walk to Llandwyn island which is beautiful and feels very spiritual. Be mindful of tide times as it does get cut off at high tide and you can't see down onto the beach from the top."

Another shared: "Newborough Forest and beach is a stunning location. It is great for long walks with or without a dog. The scenery and vistas are amazing. We were there on a very blustery day, but it was still very enjoyable being in Mother Nature."

A third commented: "So good we went two days in a row! Got down there by 10 so the beach carpark was virtually empty. Pick up a walks pamphlet near the toilets and off we went. Did the blue walk which took us over to the island once the tide had gone down a bit."
