and were back at the helm as hosts, but eagle-eyed fans spotted a change in the judging panel. Paul Hollywood was in his usual spot, yet his partner-in-pastry Prue Leith was noticeably missing, with Caroline Waldegrave stepping into her shoes for this spin-off series.

Fans of can breathe a sigh of relief as it's been confirmed that Prue Leith will be returning to the show later this year, despite her absence from The Great Celebrity Bake Off: Stand Up To Cancer 2025.
A spokesperson for Love Productions, the company behind the hit Channel 4 series, has stated: "Prue will be joining Paul as usual to judge The Great British Bake Off, but will be stepping back from The Great Celebrity Bake Off for Stand Up To Cancer."
Stepping into Prue's shoes for the celebrity charity edition is Caroline, a close friend and former business partner of Prue. Caroline, who co-founded Leiths School of Food and Wine with Prue and has co-authored cookbooks such as Leiths Easy Dinner Parties and Leiths Cookery Bible, will be taking over judging duties.
