‘I am not in my senses…’, Rakesh Roshan breaks silence on making of Hrithik’s Krrish 4, who will be the director?

Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan is remembered for his performance in the iconic film Krrish. The film altogether has a different fan base. The audience has been waiting for part 4 of the movie for a long time. Last year, soon after he retired from direction, filmmaker Rakesh Roshan revealed that he will soon announce Krrish 4. After this, the discussion about Karan Malhotra’s name had gained momentum. It was being said that after Rakesh’s retirement, Karan will direct the fourth installment of this superhit franchise. Rakesh finally broke his silence on the ongoing speculations. He said that now the time has come to hand over this torch to someone else.

Rakesh Roshan expressed through his words that there is a lot of hope that Krrish 4 will definitely be made and Kunal Malhotra will direct this film. Because according to Rakesh, he does not live in his senses anymore.

Rakesh told Bollywood Hungama, “The day has to come when I have to take this work forward. So, it is better that I do this work when I am in my senses, so that I can keep an eye on the process and also find out whether they are doing it correctly or not. Tomorrow, if I am not in my senses and I have to take it forward, then I will not know what they are making.”

Rakesh further said that he has no regrets about his decision. “We have to take this risk. Also, there is no guarantee that if Rakesh Roshan directs Krrish 4, it will be a blockbuster. It can be the other way round as well.”

Let us tell you, Karan Malhotra has previously made big films like Shamshera starring Ranbir Kapoor, Agneepath starring Hrithik Roshan, Brothers with Akshay Kumar-Sidharth Malhotra. Rakesh Roshan started the Krrish 4 franchise in 2003 with the sci-fi film Koi Mil Gaya. Preity Zinta was with Hrithik in the film. After this, Krrish was released with Priyanka Chopra in 2006 and Krrish 3 was released in 2013. Kangana Ranaut and Vivek Oberoi were also in Krrish 3.
