Udaipur: Hindustan Zinc Limited (NSE: HINDZINC), India’s largest and the world’s second-largest integrated zinc producer, in collaboration with the Anil Agarwal Foundation, has achieved a significant milestone with the inauguration of 70 new Nand Ghars in Rajsamand district. This expansion brings the total number of newly developed Nand Ghars in the region to 101reinforcing Rajasthan’s anganwadi infrastructure and supporting the holistic development of women and children.
With this addition, Hindustan Zinc has contributed to Nearly 700 Nand Ghs in Rajsamandfurther strengthening the 4,200 centres established across 15 districts of Rajasthan. Nationally, the Nand Ghar initiative has modernized over 7,500 anganwadispositively impacting over 3,00,000 children and 2,00,000 women.
The inauguration ceremony, held at Kuraj in rajsamandwas attended by Smt. Dipti Maheshwari, MLA – Rajsamand, Sh. Arun Misra, CEO – Hindustan Zincdistrict officials, village sarpanchs, and local community members.
Smt. Dipti maheshwari lauded the initiative, stating,
