Delhi: The 18th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) is going to start in Kolkata from 22 March. Bollywood's famous actress Disha Patani and singer Shreya Ghoshal will perform at the opening event for this season. This will be a great performance before the match between Kolkata Knight Riders and Royal Challengers Bangalore. ICC chairman Jai Shah will also attend this event.

This time something new will be seen in the event of IPL. According to reports, BCCI is planning to organize opening ceremonies on all 13 venues this season. Earlier, there were opening ceremonies on only a few special venues, but now it will be lived everywhere.

Many big stars of Bollywood are going to be a part of these opening ceremonies. Stars like Salman Khan, Varun Dhawan, Katrina Kaif, Tripti Dimri, Ananya Pandey, Madhuri Dixit, Janhvi Kapoor will perform at this event. According to reports, these celebrities will perform on various venues during IPL.

Logistic issues and coordination

This time, such a large scale events are being held, so some logistic problems may come out. These events are being planned to be organized smoothly by creating a synergy between the BCCI and the state associations, so that there is no hindrance in the matches.

Match on new venues

In this season, matches will be played at some new places in addition to traditional venues. For example, there will be matches of Rajasthan Royals, Delhi Capitals and Punjab Kings in Guwahati, Visakhapatnam, Dharamshala and Mullanpur. Exciting cricket will also be seen on these new venues.
