While airlines generally have the same rules, each carrier has its when it comes to storing pushchairs and prams in the and bringing them into the cabin. Pushchairs are crucial for many families as travelling can be long and enduring for children, with prams nowadays laying flat - so little ones can sleep and nap schedules remain interrupted at the airport. And it doesn't stop there with millions of Brits relying on their stroller once they're off the plane, too.
While most airlines typically allow extra baggage for parents, not all the rules are identical. We've rounded them up for you below ahead of the Easter holidays - the first travel peak of the year.

Ryanair passengers are permitted to bring two items of carry-on baby equipment for free. Items allowed under this rule include one fully collapsible pushchair (including double pushchairs), travel system or baby sling per child, plus one car seat, booster seat or travel cot.
Travellers can book online to check in additional items of equipment for babies and toddlers (with a maximum weight of 20kg per item) but fees will apply. The fee for this is €15/£15 per item for each one-way flight (outbound and return).
Baby and toddler items also need to be tagged at a Ryanair check-in desk or at the boarding gate. Subsequently, passengers will be able to use their pushchairs until they get to the steps of the aircraft.
Depending on the arrival airport, passengers may locate their pushchair at the steps of the aircraft or in the arrival baggage hall. Check with the ground staff when disembarking to confirm.
easyJetSimilar to Ryanair, easyJet passengers are also permitted to carry two additional items for babies and toddlers in the hold for free, if necessary. These include a travel cot, pushchair, car seat, collapsible or non-collapsible pram, booster seat and/or baby back carrier.
Passengers can also gate-check their prams and pushchairs for free. This means they can be used up until you reach the boarding gate, at which point easyJet staff will take it and store it in the hold.
grants children over 2 years of age the same baggage allowance as adults, in addition to essential extras including pushchairs and car seats.
To help travellers navigate the distance between arrival terminals and baggage claim, British Airways also offers a service to return your pushchair back to the aircraft door in certain destinations. There are strict parameters on the size of pushchairs, so please see below if your pushchair qualifies for this service

If your pushchair is within the dimensions it will be tagged with an orange Return To Aircraft Door label, with your customer information included, before being placed in the hold. You can then collect it on arrival at your destination. Please contact the cabin crew for assistance.
If your pushchair is bigger than the dimensions it will not be delivered to the aircraft door on arrival. Instead, you can collect your pushchair on the baggage carousel in the baggage hall at your destination, along with your checked baggage.
Keep in mind this service is not offered at all British Airways-operated destinations, so please ask at check-in whether aircraft pick-up is possible.
TUI Airways customers (both package or flight only), can check in pushchairs and/or car seats into the hold for free. TUI flyers can also bring their pushchair into the cabin, as long as it weighs less than 10kg, is no bigger than 55x40x20cm and has a hand luggage label provided during check-in.
Bringing a pushchair or carseat into the cabin, however, will count as large hand luggage for an adult on the booking. That means you can only have one smaller piece of hand luggage that fits under the seat in front of you, in addition to your pushchair or carseat.
TUI flyers also have the option to use their pushchair at the airport and pass it on to a member of staff at the gate before boarding. In order to benefit from this service, passengers must first have their pushchair tagged during check in.
