Mammootty, the Malayalam celebrity, has been the subject of baseless claims about his health.  The film industry speculated that the experienced actor had received a cancer diagnosis and had halted his work while he received treatment.  His team, however, has vehemently refuted these allegations.

After Mammootty took a brief leave of absence from work, the rumors gathered momentum, which alarmed his supporters and well-wishers.  Many people expressed their concerns about the claimed ailment, and social media was inundated with questions regarding his health.

In a formal statement, Mammootty’s team clarified the matter and denied the rumors.  “It’s false information.  He is fasting for Ramadan, which is why he is on vacation.  As a result, he is also taking a vacation from his shooting schedule.  Indeed, he will resume filming Mahesh Narayanan’s movie alongside Mohanlal after the break,” the statement said.

The actor’s current project is Bazooka, which is scheduled for release on April 10, 2025.  Fans of Mammootty may now look forward to his comeback to the big screen without worrying about his health, as his team has put an end to the rumors.
