Hugh Jackman is a recurring topic in The Residence but does the renowned actor actually feature in the murder mystery?
Shonda Rhimes' latest series The Residence revolves around a murder committed within the White House, with Detective Cordelia Cupp (portrayed by Uzo Aduba) tasked with sifting through numerous suspects to identify the culprit.
During a state dinner with members of the Australian government, chief usher AB Wynter (Giancarlo Esposito) is murdered upstairs.
To keep their guests entertained, the President's social secretary Lilly Schumacher (Molly Griggs) invites famous Australian personalities to the special evening, including Kylie Minogue who performs live.
Hugh Jackman is also believed to be among the guests, with butler Sheila Cannon (Edwina Findley) seen flirting with him and cleaner Elsyie Chayle (Julieth Restrepo) encountering The Greatest Showman star in the toilets.
However, despite frequent mentions throughout the eight episodes of The Residence, Jackman doesn't actually appear in the show.
Whenever he "appears", only his back is shown, accompanied by a voice that bears a striking resemblance to the Les Miserable actor.
Even when all the guests are held up while Detective Cupp carries out her murder investigation, Jackman is "shown" entertaining everyone with tap dancing, yet his face is never clearly visible.
There's been some confusion but Hugh Jackman's supposed cameo in The Residence isn't listed on his IMDb page, so he doesn't actually appear in the Netflix series.
However, the Shonda Rhimes drama does star the fabulous Kylie Minogue who not only sets the screen alight with a performance but also irritates Detective Cupp with persistent requests to access her bedroom in the White House, located just a stone's throw away from the crime scene.
Gushing over the Australian icon on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, actress Uzo Aduba revealed: "Oh she's so fierce.
"I love Kylie. I fell more in love with her. She's in it [The Residence] a good deal. You can't miss her."
The Residence is available to watch on Netflix.
