Latest weather maps show are on the way for Brits once more. As weather has started to warm for spring, maps show could be on the way once more. The maps, from , show that on Friday 28 March, snow will hit some parts of the UK as early as 6am.

From Friday 28 March at 6am until Sunday 30 March at midnight, snowfall is predicted across the UK over these 66 hours. However, only Scotland will be affected on Friday with most other areas escaping snowfall but instead seeing rain.

Maps show that rain will fall along the south coast of England and in the north of England, with some also expected along the east and west coast.

As for the midlands and Wales, these areas will remain mostly dry.

By Saturday 29 March, at 6am, temperatures are expected to drop with a wind chill map showing large swathes of the UK will sit at 0C or less.

Only the south of England and Wales will escape freezing temperatures with most other parts of the UK headed for .

On Saturday 29 March at 6pm, maps show some snow could hit England with up to 2cm per hour of snowfall expected in the north of England.

According to the forecast, areas affected will include Manchester, Lancashire, North Yorkshire, Cumbria and small parts of Wales.

By Sunday 30 March, maps show up to 0.2cm per hour of in North Yorkshire with all other parts of the UK to avoid snowfall.

A forecast by the says: "The final week or so of March to the start of April looks to be characterised by a slowly evolving, generally changeable weather pattern.

"Initially a more widely dry interlude seems likely but with time these drier conditions become more favoured across the south, where overnight fog is also a possibility."

It adds that further north and northwest, there is a greater chance of rain or showers at times, these accompanied by with a chance of gales for parts of the far northwest especially.

The forecast continues: "There is a small chance that these wetter, windier conditions may become more widespread for a time.

"Temperatures will probably pan out close to average overall, though remain possible where clear skies coincide with light winds."
