Bollywood actress Disha Patani delivered a stunning dance performance at the opening ceremony of the 18th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025.

The grand event took place at the famous Eden Gardens in Kolkata attended by cricket fans, Indian cricketers and several prominent personalities.

The IPL opening ceremony began with a mesmerizing and soulful performance by singer Shreya Ghoshal followed by Disha Patani’s much-anticipated act.

Disha started her performance with the hit song “Do You Love Me” from the 2020 film Baaghi 3 in which she starred alongside Tiger Shroff.

Speaking of her look, the bold Bollywood actress opted for a sparkling blouse and a matching mini skirt paired with gloves for her IPL performance.

While the glittering outfit enhanced Disha’s charm, her performance failed to leave a lasting impression.

In the viral videos on social media, Disha can be seen attempting to dance to the song. However, netizens heavily criticized her performance.

Viewers commented that the actress was merely lip-syncing throughout the performance and her dance moves lacked energy.

Additionally, Disha’s performance was abruptly cut off by the broadcast channel midway disappointing her fans.

However, the segment was later resumed and Disha continued to dance to other songs. Despite this, much of her performance remained under criticism.

One user in the comment section sarcastically thanked Star Sports India for cutting Disha’s performance short but added that her later act With karan aujla helped salvage the situation.

After Disha Patani’s act, popular Punjabi singer Karan Aujla took the stage and performed his hit songs “YVY,” “Softly” and “Toba Toba” along with his recently released track “Tell Me” featuring Ryan Tedder from the music band OneRepublic.

Disha also joined Karan Aujla on stage for a dance performance adding more vibrancy to the event.
