IIT Delhi MTech Admission 2025: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi has begun the application procedure for its MTech degrees for the academic year 2025. Those who are interested can submit the form by visiting the IIT Delhi's official website.

Students with an acceptable GATE score who apply for the full-time MTech programme must additionally enrol on the Common Offer Acceptance Portal (COAP) and include their COAP Registration Number in their application. The Full-time MTech and MTech (High-Value Assistantship) programs each have a duration of 4 semesters (24 months), while the Part-time MTech program spans 6 semesters (36 months).

IIT Delhi MTech Admission 2025: Key dates

The important dates are as follows:

1. Application window opening date: March 22, 2025 (12:00 noon)

2. Application window closing date: April 7, 2025 (4:00 pm)

3. Written Tests/Interviews dates: May 14 – June 16, 2025

4. Orientation for New PG Students: July 19, 2025

5. Registration for New PG Students: July 19 – July 20, 2025

6. Classes starting date: July 24, 2025

IIT Delhi MTech Admission 2025: Application fees

The application fee for General, OBC, and EWS categories applicants is Rs. 200, while aspirants belonging to the SC, ST, and PwD categories are Rs. 50.

IIT Delhi MTech Admission 2025: How to apply?

The application procedure is entirely online, and aspirants are not required to submit a printed copy of their application form or bank challan.

Aspirants need to follow the mentioned below steps to submit the application form:

Step 1: Go to IIT Delhi’s official website – home.iitd.ac.in/pg-admissions.php.

Step 2: After this, go to the admissions section and provide personal and academic information.

Step 3: Now, upload the necessary documents and complete the application process by submitting the fees.

Step 4: Next, download the confirmation page and take a printout of the same for further reference.

IIT Delhi MTech Admission 2025: Eligibility criteria

Applicants with a B.Tech. or M.Sc. degree in an appropriate field are qualified to apply to IIT Delhi's MTech courses. General/OBC applicants must have a qualified degree with at least 60% marks or a CGPA of 6.00 on a 10-point scale. For SC/ST/PwD applicants, the needed minimum marks are reduced to 55% or a CGPA of 5.50. To be considered for admission to the Mtech entrance programme, applicants must also have an acceptable GATE score.

The official bulletin contains the GATE score cut-off for admission to non-sponsored full-time M.Tech. Programmes from the preceding academic year. Yet, it is crucial to note that the given cut-off is for the academic year 2024-25 and is just supplied for reference. The deadline for this year may vary greatly.
