The star of the match was Ishan Kishan, who scored his first-ever IPL century. His unbeaten 106 helped SRH set a daunting target of 287.

Despite strong performances from RR's impact sub Sanju Samson and Dhruv Jurel, RR fell short with a score of 242/6.

Jurel's whirlwind knock was ended by leg-spinner Zampa, SRH's impact sub. This was the wrist-spinner's only wicket of the match.

Overall, Zampa conceded 48 runs from four overs in the high-scoring thriller. He was SRH's only specialist spinner in the match.
